A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY ATTORNEY
TO DEFEND THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, MAYOR
GABRIEL CAZARES, AND COMMISSIONERS KARLEEN
DEBLAKER, KAREN MARTIN, JOSEPH CARWISE AND
DARWIN S. FRANK, IN THE CASE OF ROBERT D.
BICKERSTAFFE VS. CITY OF CLEARWATER, ET AL,
CIR CUIT CIVIL NO. 77-1418-14.
WHEREAS, the City of Clearwater, Mayor Gabriel Cazares, and
Commissioners Karleen DeBlaker, Karen Martin, Joseph Carwise and
Darwin S. Frank, have been sued in the case of Robert D. Bickerstaffe
vs. City of Clearwater, a Municipal Corporation, Mayor Gabriel Cazares,
and Commissioners Rarleen DeBlaker, Karen Martin, Joseph Carwise and
Darwin S. Frank, Circuit Civil No. 77-1418-14; and
WHEREAS, the City Commission desires that the City Attorney should
enter into the defense of this litigation;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY
COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA,
IN SESSION DULY AND REGULARLY ASSEMBLED, AS
FOLLOWS:
That the City Attorney is hereby authorized to take any and all steps
necessary to defend the City of Clearwater, Florida, Mayor Gabriel Cazares,
and Commissioners Karleen DeBlaker, Karen Martin, Joseph Carwise and
Darwin S. Frank, in the case of Robert D. Bickerstaffe vs. City of Clearwater,
a Municipal Corporation, Mayor Gabriel Cazares, et al, Circuit Civil
No. 77-1418-14.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 3rd day of March, A. D. 1977.
