A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY OF CLEARWATER
TO ENTER INTO A TRAFFIC SIGNAL MAINTENANCE AGREE-
MENT WITH THE STATE OF FLORIDA DEPARTMENT OF
TRANSPORTATION.
WHEREAS, the City of Clearwater has been provided a Traffic Signal
Maintenance Agreement by the State of Florida, Department of Transportation;
and
WHEREAS, the agreement has been reviewed in the light of the City of
Clearwater'a computerized traffic control system, and the City Commission
of the City of Clearwater findBAhat it would be in the public interest to maintain
and pay electrical costs for the operation of the traffic signal or signals
identified in Exhibit "A" of said maintenance agreement, and accordingly to
enter into the attached Traffic Signal Maintenance Agreement with the State
of Florida, Department of Transportation;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY
COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA,
IN SESSION DULY AND REGULARLY ASSEMBLED, AS
FOLLOWS:
1. That the City Commission of the City of Clearwater, Florida,
concurs in the provisions of that certain Traffic Signal Maintenance Agreement,
submitted by the State of Florida, Department of Transportation, relating to
the maintenance of those traffic signals identified and described in Exhibit "A"
of the attached agreement, which agreement is attached hereto and made a part
hereof as if fully rewritten herein.
Z. That the City Commission of the City of Clearwater hereby
authorizes the City Manager to execute and administer the attached agreement,
together with the appropriate officials of the City.
