No. 76 - ' 144
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY ATTORNEY
TO DEFEND MAX G. BATTLE, CITY ENGINEER, IN
THE CASE OF EDGAR BLUNT, ETC. VS. MAX G.
BATTLE, ET AL, CIRCUIT CIVIL NO. 75-10449-15.
WHEREAS, Max G. Battle, City Engineer has been sued in the case
of Edgar Blunt, as personal representative of the Estate of Lynn W. Blunt,
deceased vs. Max G. Battle, D. E. Britt Associates, Inc, , a Florida
Corporation, and L. F. Lang & Sons Pools, Inc. , a Florida Corporation,
Circuit Civil No. 75-.10449-15; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 31 of the Charter of the City of
Clearwater, the City Attorney must have authorization to enter into the .
defense of this litigation;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY
COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA,
IN SESSION DULY AND REGULARLY ASSEMBLED, AS
FOLLOWS:
That the City Attorney is hereby authorized to take any and all steps
necessary to defend Max G. Battle, City Engineer, in the case of Edgar
Blunt, as personal representative of the Estate of Lynn W. Blunt, deceased,
vs. Max G. Sattle, D. E. Britt Associates, Inc. and L. F. Lang & Sons
Pools, Inc., Circuit Civil No. 75-14449.15.
