RESOLUTION
No. 76 -141
A RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING THE FEE SCHEDULE
APPLICABLE TO ANNEXATION REQUESTS TO THE
CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA.
WHEREAS, the City of Clearwater does process a number of annexation
requests; and
WHEREAS, annexation requests will now be treated separate and apart
from requests to establish zoning; and
WHEREAS, processing annexation requests does involve areas of
special engineering and therefore a fee schedule should be established to
defray the cost of processing such applications;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY
COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA,
IN SESSION DULY AND REGULARLY ASSEMBLED, AS
FOLLOWS:
1. That the City Commission hereby establishes the following
schedule of fees which shall govern the application and processing of all
annexation requests:
a. All unplatted property other than single
family owner occupied property $350.00
b. All platted property other than single
family owner occupied property 250.00
c. All single family owner occupied
property 25.00
2. That the schedule of fees established in this Resolution supersedes
that schedule of fees set out in Resolution No. 71..52, passed on May 3, 1971.
3. That this Resolution shall become effective immediately upon its
adoption.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 18h tday of November, A. D. 1976.
