A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY ATTORNEY'S
OFFICE TO APPEAL THE DECISION OF THE CIRCUIT
COURT IN CITY OF CLEARWATER, ET AL V. BOBBY
I,,, GARRETSON, CASE NO. 75-11712-14.
WHEREAS, the Circuit Court on October IZ, 1976, rendered its
decision denying a Writ of Certiorari in the case of City of Clearwater
v. Bobby L. Garretson; and
WHEREAS, the City Attorney's office and associated counsel have
reviewed the decision and have concluded that the decision of the Circuit
Court should be appealed to the Second District Court of Appeals; and
WHEREAS, it is the concensus of the City Commission that such
appeal should be filed;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY
COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA,
IN SESSION DULY AND REGULARLY ASSEMBLED, AS
FOLLOWS:
That the City Attorney's Office Is hereby authorized to appeal the
Circuit Court decision rendered October 12, 1976, in the case of City of
Clearwater, et al v. Bobby L. Garretson, Case No, 75-11712-14.
