RESOLUTION
No. 76 - 100
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY ATTORNEY
TO BRING AN ACTION PURSUANT TO SECTION 31
OF THE CHARTER TO COLLECT AN OVERDUE ACCOUNT.
WHEREAS, the City of Clearwater permitted American Aggregate,
Inc. to travel to and from Sand Key on the- basis of paying the toll charges
on a monthly basis; and
WHEREAS, at the present time American Aggregate, Inc. owes
the City of Clearwater $1, 354. 00, plus interest; and
WHEREAS, several demands have been made upon American
Aggregate, Inc. to remit the amount due; and
WHEREAS, the overdue account should be collected;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY
COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA,
IN SESSION DULY AND REGULARLY ASSEMBLED, AS
FOLLOWS:
That the City Attorney be and he is authorized pursuant to Section
31 of the Charter of the City of Clearwater to institute an action against
American Aggregate, Inc. to collect an overdue toll charge account.
PASSED,AND ADOPTED this 2nd day of September, A. D. 1976.
