A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY ATTORNEY
TO DEFEND THE CITY OF CLEARWATER IN THE CASE
OF VICTORIA E. LONG VS. CITY OF CLEARWATER,
ET AL, CIRCUIT CIVIL NO. 76-7552-14.
WHEREAS, the City of Clearwater has been sued in the case of
Victoria E. Long vs. City of Clearwater, et al, Circuit Civil No. 76-7552-14;
and
WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 31 of the Charter of the City of Clear.
water, the City Attorney must have authorization to enter into the defense
of this litigation;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY
COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA,
IN SESSION DULY AND REGULARLY ASSEMBLED, AS
FOLLOWS:
That the City Attorney is hereby authorized to take any and all steps
necessary to defend the City of Clearwater in the case of,Nictdxia E. Long
vs. City of Clearwater, et al, Circuit Civil No. 76-7552-14.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 19th day of August, A. D. 1976.
