A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY ATTORNEY TO
DEFEND THE CITY MANAGER IN THE CASE OF WILLIAM
C. DIXON VS. PICOT B. FLOYD, CIRCUIT CIVIL NO.
76-7052-14.
WHEREAS, the City Manager has been made a party respondent
in the case of William C. Dixon vs. Picot B. Floyd, Circuit Civil No.
76..7052..14; and
WHEREAS, Section 31 of the Charter of the City of Clearwater
requires that the City Attorney receive authorization from the City
Commission to defend any and all such actions; and
WHEREAS, it is the consensus of the City Commission that
the office of the City Attorney should defend this lawsuit;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY
COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA,
IN SESSION DULY AND REGULARLY ASSEMBLED, AS
FOLLOWS:
That the City Attorney is hereby authorized to take any and all
action necessary to defend the City Manager in the case of William C.
Dixon vs. Picot B. Floyd, Circuit Civil No. 76-7052..14.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 2nd day of August, A. D. 1976.
