No. 76 - 83 A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY ATTORNEY TO DEFEND THE CITY MANAGER IN THE CASE OF WILLIAM C. DIXON VS. PICOT B. FLOYD, CIRCUIT CIVIL NO. 76-7052-14. WHEREAS, the City Manager has been made a party respondent in the case of William C. Dixon vs. Picot B. Floyd, Circuit Civil No. 76..7052..14; and WHEREAS, Section 31 of the Charter of the City of Clearwater requires that the City Attorney receive authorization from the City Commission to defend any and all such actions; and WHEREAS, it is the consensus of the City Commission that the office of the City Attorney should defend this lawsuit; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA, IN SESSION DULY AND REGULARLY ASSEMBLED, AS FOLLOWS: That the City Attorney is hereby authorized to take any and all action necessary to defend the City Manager in the case of William C.
