WHEREAS, it has been determined by the City Commission
of the City of Clearwater, Florida, that for the Ipurpose of
promoting the health, safety and general welfare of the citizens
and residents of the City of Clearwater, that the hereinafter
described lots, parcels or tracts of land within the corporate
limits of the City of Clearwater, pinellas.County, Florida,
should be cleared of weeds, rubbish and debris:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY
COMIISSION OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA,
IN SESSION DULY'AND REGULARLY ASSEIMLED, AS
FOLLOWS:
1. That for the purpose of promoting the health,
safety and general welfare of the citizens and residents of the
City of Clearwater, and in accordance with Section 126 of the
Charter of'the City of Clearwater, that the following described

2. That the affected property owner or owners of said
property shall be given notice in writing of the adoption of the
Resolution, together with a copy of the Resolution, and that on
August 59 f 19 76 at 12:30 P.M. a public hearing
will be held at the City Hall Auditorium in Clearwater, Florida,
at which the affected property owner or owners will be given an
opportunity to present to the City Commission his or their
objections to said Resolution.
3. That at said public hearing the City Commission shall
determine whether the affected properties should be cleared for
one or more of the above specified reasons or constitute one or
more of the above specified hazards, giving due consideration to
all evidence presented, and if said Commission ao datermi.nes
said Resolution shall be made effective by confirmAtion thereof.
4, Thereafter written demand shaLL be cant to the owntrr
or owners of the affected properties, requiring him or them to
clear said property in accordance with the confirmed Resolution,
and if said demand is not complied with within fifteen (15) days
from the date of notice, said property will be cleared by the
City and the costs thereof will be assessed as and constitute a
lien against said property.
