A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO
EXECUTE AND SUBMIT TO THE STATE OF FLORIDA,
DEPARTMENT OF ENVIRONMENTAL REGULATION,
PERMIT AND CERTIFICATES ASSOCIATED WITH
PUBLIC WASTEWATER TREATMENT SYSTEMS.
WHEREAS, the City of Clearwater, Florida, from time to time, is
required to execute permits and certificates submitted by the State of Florida,
Department of Environmental Regulation; and
WHEREAS, the City of Clearwater is ready to execute such a permit in
conjunction with the Marshall Street Treatment Plant expansion; and
WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Clearwater is desirous
of authorizing the City Manager to approve such permits in conjunction with the
construction and operation of a public wastewater treatment facility;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY
COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA,
IN SESSION DULY AND REGULARLY ASSEMBLED, AS
FOLLOWS:
1. That the City Commission of the City of Clearwater, Florida, hereby
officially authorizes the City Manager to approve and execute on behalf of the
City of Clearwater all permits required by the State of Florida in conjunction
with the construction and operation of public wastewater treatment systems.
2. That this authorization for the City Manager to approve and execute
permits submitted by the State of Florida will continue until terminated by
further action of the City Commission of the City of Clearwater.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 3rd day of June, A. D. 1976.
