A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER
TO EXECUTE THE NECESSARY AGREEMENTS TO
CARRY ON A SUMMER FOOD SERVICE PROGRAM
FOR CHILDREN
WHEREAS, the State of Florida, Department of Education, presently
sponsors a food service program for children as part of effectuating the
National School Lunch Act; and
WHEREAS, the State of Florida provides funds to conduct such a
program; and
WHEREAS, the City of Clearwater through its Department of Parke
and Recreation has conducted such a program in the past; and
WHEREAS, the City of Clearwater, through its Department of Parks
and Recreation, has submitted an application to participate in such a program
during the year 1976;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY
COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA,
IN SESSION DULY AND REGULARLY ASSEMBLED, AS
FOLLOWS:
That the City Manager is hereby authorized to execute those documents
submitted by the State of Florida, Department of Education, in order to
implement a summer food service program in Clearwater, Florida.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 3rd day of June, A. D. 1976.
