RESOLUTION
No. 76 -57
A RESOLUTION CONFIRMING THE APPOINTMENT OF
THE DEPUTY CITY TREASURER AND AUTHORIZING
HIM TO EXECUTE ALL CHECKS IN SAID CAPACITY
WHEREAS, the City of Clearwater bank accounts require the signature
of the City Manager and the City Treasurer on the checks written on said
accounts, and also certain Construction Trust Funds require the signature
of the City Manager and City Treasurer on requisitions necessary for the
administration thereof; and
WHEREAS, Section 73 of the Charter of the City of Clearwater, Florida,
authorizes the City Treasurer with the consent of the City Manager to appoint
a Deputy City Treasurer, who, when appointed, shall have the same powers
and authority and shall conform to all rules and regulations of the City and
all laws as the City Treasurer is subject to; and
WHEREAS, David H. Curtis has been appointed as Deputy City
Treasurer;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY
COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA,
IN SESSION DULY AND REGULARLY ASSEMBLED, AS
FOLLOWS:
1. That the City Commission of the City of Clearwater hereby officially
confirms the appointment of David H. Curtis as Deputy City Treasurer of said
City and authorizes him to execute all checks and handle all accounts of the
City of Clearwater in said capacity, which said accounts are maintained in
any of the various Banks of the area, including authority to sign requisitions
required by any Construction Trust Fund held and managed by any of the
various Banks.
2. That certified copies of this Resolution be forwarded forthwith to
the various Banks of the area where accounts and Construction Trust Funds

authorization of the City of Clearwater to such Hank to accept the signature
