RESOLUTION
No. 76 .. 39
A RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING THE POLICY- IN THE
CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA, THAT SPRINKLING,
WATERING OR IRRIGATION BE PROHIBITED BETWEEN
THE HOURS OF 10 A. M. " AND 4 P. M.
WHEREAS, the Pinellas County Water System is experiencing serious
difficulty in maintaining adequate water pressure in its water system; and
WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Clearwater desires
to cooperate with other agencies in the water conservation effort being
conducted, and "
WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Clearwater recognizes
the need for conserving water used for irrigation purposes;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY
COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA,
IN SESSION DULY AND REGULARLY ASSEMBLED, AS
FOLLOWS:
That the sprinkling, watering or irrigation, within the City of
Clearwater, Florida, of shrubbery, trees, lawns, grass, ground cover, plants,
vines, gardens, vegetables, flowers or any other vegetation shall be prohibited
between the hours of 10:00 A. M. and 4;00 P. M.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 1st day of April, A. D. 1976.
