RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, H. H. Baskin, Sr., a former Mayor of the City of
Clearwater, and a pioneer of this area, died on December 14, 1975; and
WHEREAS, the said H. H. Baskin, Sr. has for many years
rendered outstanding public service to the City by not only serving as
Mayor for eight years, but also by his unselfish contribution of time and
energy to the development of this City; and
WHEREAS, the City of Clearwater has renson to feel a very real
and deep sense of loss in his death because of his contributions to the
civic and cultural development of this Community]
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY
COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA,
IN SESSION DULY AND REGULARLY ASSEMBLED, AS
FOLLOWS:
1. That the City Commission of the City of Clearwater. personally
and on behalf of the citizens of the City, regretfully recognises the passing
of H. H. Baskin, Sr. and gratefully acknowledges his devoted service
to the City.
Z. That a duplicate original of this Resolution be delivered to
the family of H. H. Baskin. Sr.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 18th day of December, A. D. 1975.
