A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE
CITY MANAGER OF TIME CITY OF CLEARWATER,
FLORIDA, TO MAKE APPLICATION FOR FEDERAL
ASSISTANCE UNDER PUBLIC LAW 92-500 CONSTRUCTION
GRANTS PROGRAM.
WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Clearwater, Florida,
proposed to construct an expansion and modification of its wastewater
system for abatement of pollution, and
WHEREAS, it is deemed necessary and advisable to seek Federal
assistance and/or State assistance for such construction;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY
COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA,
IN SESSION DULY AND REGULARLY ASSEMBLED, AS
FOLLOWS:
1. That Picot B. Floyd, City Manager, be and he is hereby authorized
to execute and file an application on behalf of the City of Clearwater, Florida,
•xith the Environmental Protection Agency for assistance under Public Law
92-500, Steps 1, 2 and 3 of sewage construction grants for the construction
of an expansion and modification of its wastewater system.
2. That Picot B. Floyd, City Manager, be and he is hereby authorized
and directed to furnish such information as the Environmental Protection
Agency may reasonably request in connection with the application which is
herein authorized to be filed.
3. That this Resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption.
