WHEREAS, the City of Clearwater has previously accepted a grant
from the Environmental Protection Agency to assist in the Marshall Street
Pollution Control Facility; and
WHEREAS, acceptance of such grant included as a stipulation the
preparation of an approved operation and maintenance manual for such
facility; and
WHEREAS, Briley, Wild & Associates have presented to the City a
proposal for preparation of th operation and maintenance manual for the
Marshall Street Pollution Control Facility at a cost of $Z9, 000; and
a
WHEREAS, on September 18, 1975, the City Commission of the
City of Clearwater passed Resolution No. 75-124 which authorized the
M expenditure of $6, 240 by the City of Clearwater upon completion of the
rnanual; and
WHEREAS, it has been ascertained that the City is to pay the entire
cost and will be reimbursed by the Federal Government for seventy-five
per cent (75%) of such cost; and
WHEREAS, said Resolution No, 75-124 should be repealed in its
entirety;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY
COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA,
IN SESSION DULY AND REGULARLY ASSEMBLED, AS
FOLLOWS:
1. That Resolution No. 75-124 passed by the City Commission of the
City of Clearwater, Florida, on September 18, 1975, is hereby repealed in
its entirety.
2. That the City of Clearwater hereby accepts the proposal of Briley,
Wild & Associates to prepare the operation and maintenance manual for the
Marshall Street' Pollution Control Facility required by the Environmental

Protection Agency at a cost of $29?, 000, and authorizes the expenditure of
$29, 000, by the City of Clearwater upon completion of the manual and its
acceptance by the Environmental Protection Agency.
3. That a certified copy of this Resolution be forwarded forthwith
to Briley, Wild & Associates.
