RESOLUT ION
No. 75 - 135
WHEREAS, the City of Clearwater has been awarded a pedestrian safety
grant by the Governor's Highway Safety Commission; and
WHEREAS, the City of Clearwater desires to adcept such grant;.and
WHEREAS, the project will involve an expenditure on the part of the
City of Clearwater in the amount of $22,400 as the City of Clearwater's share
of project coats;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY
COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA,
IN SESSION REGULARLY AND DULY ASSEMBLED, AS
FOLLOWS:
1. That the City of Clearwater hereby accepts the Governor's Highway
Safety Commis sion grant in the amount of $35, 000, the same being Project
Number 314-76-001-001, City of Clearwater-..Pedestrian Safety System,
and authorizes the expenditure of $22, 400 as the City of Clearwater' 0 share
of project costs.
2. That a certified copy of this Resolution be forwarded forthwith
to the Governor's Highway Safety Commission.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 2nd day of October, A. D. 1975.
