WHEREAS, portions of Union Street arc in the jurisdiction of
the City of Dunedin, the City of Clearwater and Pinellas County; and '
WHEREAS, the City of Clearwater has undertaken to provide: sidewalks
in the areas within its jurisdiction along Union Street; and
WHEREAS, there are open areas of grass for children to walk on
remaining in the areas in the jurisdiction of the City of Dunedin and Pinellas
County;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY
COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA,
IN SESSION DULY AND REGULARLY ASSEMBLED, AS
FOLLOWS:
1. That the City of Clearwater hereby requests Pinellas County and
the City of Dunedln to proceed as quickly as possible to install sidewalks
along Union Street in the areas within their respective jurisdictions.
2. That a certified copy of this Resolution be forwarded forthwith to
the Pinellas County Commission and to the City of Dunedin.
