RESOLUTION
No. 75 - 123
WHEREAS, a preliminary Investigation has revealed potential
irregularities in the conduct of the 1973 Annual Water Main Extension Contract
presently held by SAS Enterprises; and
WHEREAS, the City Commission desires to authorize the Legal
Department to pursue a course of action for verification, Including filing
such law suits as may be necessary to recover funds loot by the City of
Clearwater;
NOW, THEREFORE, HE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY
COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA,
IN SESSION DULY AND REGULARLY ASSEMBLED, AS
FOLLOWS;
That the City Attorney is hereby authorized to file such suit or suits,
as may be found necessary, against all individuals, corporations, partner.
ships or sole proprietorships having any connection with the 1973 Annual
Water Main Extension Contract to recover all funds or the value of all
materials improperly authorized, expended or used during the period of the
Contract's existence.
