S RESOLUTION No. 75 - 120 WHEREAS, the Pinellas County Commission has set up separate taxing districts for the unincorporated and incorporated areas; and WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Clearwater is of the opinion that such a taxing procedure is equitable and eliminates double taxation to the residents of the City of Clearwater; and WHEREAS, the City Commission desires to commend the Pinellas County Commission for this change in policy; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA, IN SESSION DULY AND REGULARLY ASSEMBLED, AS FOLLOWS: 1. That the City of Clearwater hereby officially commends the Pinellas County Commission for setting up separate taxing districts for the unincorporated and incorporated areas and thereby establishing a more equitable taxing procedure. 2. That a certified copy of this Resolution be forwarded forthwith to the Pinellas County Commission and to the Pinellas County Administrator. PASSED AND ADOPTED this 4th day of September, A. D. 1975.
