WHEREAS, a suit has been filed in the Circuit Court in and for
Pinellas County, Florida, styled Field Hotel Corporation, a Pennsylvania
corporation authorized to do business in the State of Florida, vs. City of
Clearwater, a municipal corporation existing under the laws of the State of
Florida, and Picot B. Floyd, City Manager, etc., et al, being Circuit Civil
No. 75-8130-10; and
WHEREAS, the City Commission desires to authorize the Legal
Department to defend said suit and to take any and all necessary action in
such defense;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY
COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA,
IN SESSION DULY AND REGULARLY ASSEMBLED, AS
FOLLOWS;
That the City Attorney is hereby authorized to defend the suit filed
in the Circuit Court in and for Pinellas County, Florida, stylved Field
Hotel Corporation, a Pennsylvania corporation authorized to do business in
the State of Florida, vs. City of Clearwater, a municipal corporation existing
under the laws of the State of Florid, and Picot B. Floyd, City Manager, etc. ,
et al, being Circuit Civil No. 75..8130-10, and to take any and all necessary
action in such defense.
