75-96;l and other boating individuals have advised the City that the application and r 777 .Y`! 0 t RESOLUTION No, 75 - 96 WHEREAS, the City of Clearwater has received a Public Notice that Port Builders, Inc. , 100 Pierce Street, Clearwater, Florida, has applied to the Department of the Army for a permit to construct a pier in Clearwater Harbor, being SAJSP Permits 75-D-236; and WHEREAS, the Marine Advisory Committee of the City of Clearwater design of the dock as presently requested would constitute a navigational and boating hazard and problem; z•. sp NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA, w? IN SESSION REGULARLY AND DULY ASSEMBLED, AS FOLLOWS: 1. That the City of Clearwater hereby opposes construction of a pier or dock in Clearwater Harbor by Port Builders, Inc. that will constitute a navigational hazard and requests the Corps of Engineers to carefully review the application for the permit to construct such a pier.
