RESOLUTION
No. 75 - 47
WHEREAS, the City of Clearwater, Florida, is desirous of
honoring Arthur M. Kruse, who has contributed outstanding services
to the City of Clearwater and its citizens; and
WHEREAS, Arthur M. Kruse has rendered outstanding public
service to the City by serving as Chairman of the Planning Board,
Chairman of the Zoning and Planning Board, President of Clearwater
Beach Association, President of Memorial Civic Center Association
and Chairman of the Beautification Committee from 1955 thru 1961;
and

WHEREAS, the City of Clearwater, Florida previously ex-
pressed its appreciation to Arthur M. Kruse by presenting to him
the City of Clearwater medal on the 17th day of April, 1961 for hie
outstanding public service to the City of Clearwater; and
WHEREAS, the landscaped area West of Memorial Civic Center
was designated'Kruse Gardens"; and
WHEREAS, Arthur M. Kruse was commended for his involve-
ment and dedication of the new Clearwater Beach Fire Station; and
WHEREAS, this distinguished citizen was presented with a
One Dollar Bill ($1. 00) framed in green velvet as a special award
for service to the City of Clearwater;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY
COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA,
IN SESSION DULY AND REGULARLY ASSEMBLED, AS
FOLLOWS:
1. That the City of Clearwater, Florida, officially expresses
its appreciation to Arthur M. Kruse and commends him highly for his
many years of public service and contributions as noted above to the
City of Clearwater and its citizens.
