RESOLUTION
No. 75 - Z2
WHEREAS, it has boon brought to the attention of the City
Commission that Highland Avenue should be widened at the earliest date
possible because of the increased traffic thereon; and
WHEREAS, this project is under the jurisdiction of the Board of
County Commissioners of Pinellas County; and
WHEREAS, it is deemed to be in the best interests of the citizens
of the City of Clearwater to request the Board of County Commissioners of
Pinellas County to place the widening of Highland Avenue on its priority list;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY
COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA,
IN SESSION REGULARLY AND DULY ASSEMBLED, AS
FOLLOWS:
1, That the City Commission of the City of Clearwater hereby officially
requests the Board of County Commissioners of Pinellas County to place the
widening of Highland Avenue on its priority list.
2. That a certified copy of this Resolution be forwarded forthwith
to the Board of County Commissioners of Pinellas County, Florida.
