RESOLUTION
No. 75 - i
WHEREAS, Jamei Beardsley, Ezeautive Editor of the Clearwater
Sun, is retiring aftsr thirty-nine years of covering the mews in Clearwater
and Pinellas Countyl and
WHEREAS, "Jim" Beardsley has contributed much to promote
Clearwater through his many community endeavors as well as his
editorials written daily and those written as Colonel Clearwater: and
WHEREAS, it is our desire to officially recognise his' outstanding
contribution and untiring service to the City of Clearwater and the entire
community;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY
COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA,
IN SESSION DULY AND REGULARLY ASSEMBLED, AS
FOLLOWS3
1. That the City of Clearwater, Florida, officially expresses
its appreciation to James Beardsley for his many years of public service
and contributions to the City of Clearwater and Pinellas County, and wishes
him many happy years of retirement.
2. That a duplicate original of this Resolution shall be presented
to said Jarneo Beardsley.
