WHEREAS, it has been brought to the attention of the City
Commission that there are apparent tree ordinance violations on property
known as Cooper's Point on Old Tampa Bay; and
WHEREAS, the destruction of protected trees without a permit is a
serious ,matter which must be dealt with in the proper legal manner;
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY
COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA,
IN SESSION DULY AND REGULARLY ASSEMBLED, AS
FOLLOWS:,
That the City Attorney is hereby authorized to file a suit seeking
injunctive relief against the owners of Cooper's Point for any tree ordinance
violations, together with any other legal action deemed proper and necessary,
and to do all things necessary to complete said legal action.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 23rd day of A. D. 1974.
