RESOLUTION
No, 74 - 159
WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Clearwater passed
Resolution No. 73-71 on May 21, 1973, which authorized the execution of
a Construction Trust Fund Agreement with The Barnett Bank of Clearwater
to administer the proceeds of the sale of Utility Revenue Certificates, Series
of 1972; and
WHEREAS, Section 3 of said Resolution authorized certain officials
to execute requisitions for payment from said Construction Trust Fund until
further resolution of the Commission; and
WHEREAS, from time to time one or the other of such designated
officials may not be available to sign and execute such requisitions for
payment, and it is desired that said Section 3 of said Resolution be amended
to authorize certain additional officials to sign such requisitions for payment;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY
COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA,
IN SESSION DULY AND REGULARLY ASSEMBLED, AS
FOLLOWS:
1, That Section 3 of Resolution No. 73-71, passed by the City
Commission of the City of Clearwater, Florida, on May 21, 1973, be amended
to read as follows:
113. That the officials authorized to execute requisitions
according to Section 3 of said Construction Trust Fund
Agreement are as follows:
CITY MANAGER - PICOT B. FLOYD
OR
ASSISTANT CITY MANAGER - GERALD B. WEIMER
CITY TREASURER - A. C. LOWREY, JR.
OR
DEPUTY CITY TREASURER - STEPHEN C. BARRETT
and said officials are the only persons authorized to execute
said requisitions until further resolution of this Commission
and that each requisition shall not be valid until signed by the
City Manager or the above designated Assistant and the City
Treasurer or his Deputy. "
