A RESOLUTION CALLING A SPECIAL REFERENDUM ELECTION
TO BE HELD ON FEBRUARY 11, 1975, IN THE AREA OF LOTS
43 THROUGH 72, DOUGLAS MANOR PARK, ON THE QUESTION
OF THE APPROVAL OF' THE ANNEXATION OF SAID PROPERTY
INTO THE CORPORATE LIMITS OF THE CITY OF CLEARWA`i'ER,
FLORIDA, AND' ESTABLISHING THE ZONING USE DISTRICT ,
CLASSIFICATIONS AND THE FIRE DISTRICT CLASSIFICATIONS
FOR SAID PROPERTY AND PROVIDING FOR THE MANNER OF
CONDUCTING SAID ELECTION.
WHEREAS, the City of Clearwater, Florida, acting by and through
its City Commission, has passed Ordinance No. 1547 which declares its
intention to annex into the corporate limits of the City of Clearwater,
Florida, and to establish the zoning use district classifications and the
fire district classifications for the following-described areas lying con-
tiguous to the territorial limits of said City, such annexations to be by
referendum vote of the freeholders and electors in the area in accordance
with the provisions of the Charter of the City of Clearwater, Florida:
Lots 43 through 72, inclusive, Douglas Manor Park, according
to the map or plat thereof as recorded in Plat Book 53, page 19,
of the Public Records of Pinellas County, Florida, together with
all other streets, rights-of-way, all public easements contained
therein or contiguous or abutting thereto.
The.above-described property is hereby zoned 11RS-75"
(Single Family Residential District)
and designated Fire District No. 2.
and
WHEREAS, the City Commission desires to hold a Special Referendum
Election on the question of the approval of such annexations of said property:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY
COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLCRIDA,
IN SESSION DULY AND REGULARLY ASSEMBLED, AS
FOLLOWS:
1. A Special Referendum Election shall be held in the area of
Lots 43 through 72, Douglas Manor Park, between the hours of 7:00 A. M.
and 7:00 P.M.- on Tuesday, February 11, 1975, for the purpose of voting
on the following:
Do you approve Ordinance No. 1547, providing for the
annexation of the following-described property:

establishing zoning as 'IRS-75 (Single Family Residential
District).and designating it in Fire District No. 27
2. All registered electors and freeholders who are residents within
the areas to be annexed shall be eligible to vote at said election.

3. Notice of said election 6hall be given by publication in a news-
;1 paper published and of general circulation in the City of Clearwater, once a
week for the four (4) weeks immediately preceding said election.
4. The City Clerk is hereby instructed to prepare the ballot to be „
used in said election and to do all things necessary and proper as required by

law in the management and conduct of said election.
