WHEREAS, the City,Commission of the City of Clearwater,
Florida,,by Resolution No. 73-43

passed on knrh 2, 197'3
determined that for the purpose of promoting the healthy safety.
and general welfare of the citizens and residents of the City of
Clearwater, and in accordance.with Section 128_of•the Charter of
the City of Clearwater, that certain lots,•parcels or tracts of
land within the corporate limits of the City of Clearwater should
be cleared of weeds, rubbish, debris, including debris resulting
from,fires or storms, or the demolition of buildings or other,
structures or otherwise, and any noxious material of any kind
which tend to be a breeding place or haven for snakes and vermin
of all kinds and character, or which tend to create a fire hazard
endanggring the lives and property of the citizens of Clearwater,
or which tend to create a traffic hazard;.and _
WHEREAS, after proper notice, the (ity Commission held a
public hearing on April 16,
confirmed the passage of said Resolution and. demand was „
sent in'writing•to the owner or oWneres`of the affected proportion
notifying and requiring hint or them to clear said properties in
accordance with said confirmed Resolution within fifteen.(15)
days from the date of such notice or the City would clear said
properties and the costs thereof would constitute a lien against
said properties; and
Whereas, certain of the owners of the affected properties
failed to comply with the City's written demand to clear said
properties within fifteen (15) days from the date thereof, and
the City of Clearwater did thereupon clear said properties and
tho costs of such clearance'should now be assessed as a liaat on
behalf of the City of Clearwater against said ptroper'ti.es;

1, Pursuant to Section 128 of the Charter of the City
of Clearwater, Florida, and after public hearing thereon and
written notice, certain owners of the real property listed in
Resolution No. 73-43
