WHEREAS, they City of Clearwater has established an appropriate
medal to be awarded by it to persons who have rendered outstanding
service to the City of Clearwater; and
WHEREAS, Elmer L, Mylander has worked untiringly and given
unselfishly of his time amd energy for the progress of the City of,
Clearwater since his appointment in 1959 to the Planning and Zoning
Board= and
WHEREAS, Elmer L. Mylander his been serving as Chairman
of said Planning and. Zoning Board= and
WHEREAS. It is our desire to award the Clearwater Medal to
Ebner L. Mylander for his many years of faithful service to our community;
NOW. TEMREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY
COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA,
IN SESSION DULY AND REGULARLY ASSEMBLED, AS
FOLLOWS:
1. That the City of Clearwater. Florida, officially recognizes
and expiresees its appreciation to Vlmer L. Mylander for his outstanding
public service and his continued interest in civic affairs.
2. That the'City of Clearwater Medal is hereby awarded to said
Elmer L. Mylander for his service as aforesaid and the same shall be
presented to him publicly.
3. That a duplicate original of this Resolution shall he delivered
to said Elmer L. Mylander.
