RESOLUTION

WHEREAS, the City of Clearwater is preparing to fill a 2600 foot
strip of Edgewater. Drive within the City of Clearwater in its beautification
project for said right-of-way; and
WHEREAS, the City of Clearwater wishes to request the Pinellas County
Water and Navigation Control Authority to waive the processing fee for this
beautification project; and
WHEREAS, said Authority requires a formal request be made by a
municipality for the waiving of said fee;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY
COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA,
IN SESSION DULY AND REGULARLY ASSEMBLED, AS
FOLLOWS:
1. That the City Commission of the City of Clearwater hereby formally
requests the Pinellas County Water and Navigation Control Authority to waive
the processing fee for the beautification project which involves filling a 2600
foot strip of Edgewater Drive within the City of Clearwater, Florida.
2, That a certified copy of this Resolution be forwarded forthwith to
the Pinellas County Water and Navigation Control Authority, Pinellas County
Court House, 315 maven Street, Clearwater, Florida 33516,
