WHEREAS, the City of Clearwater find6 that it is desirable to
widen Osceola Avenue in the proceea of completing Pierce Boulevard ,.
extension; and
WHEREAS, this widening is to better provide adequate streets for
traffic in the City of Clearwater; and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Pinellas County,
Florida, is the owner of the property from which thin ten foot right-of-way
casement is necessary;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY
COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA,
IN SESSION DULY AND REGULARLY ASSEMBLED, AS
FOLLOWS:
1. That the City Commission of the City of Clearwater, Florida,
hereby officially requests the Board of County Commissioners of Pinellas
County, Florida, to convey to the City of Clearwater a ten foot right-of-way
easement for Osceola Avenue, described as follows:
The West 10 feet of the East 2Z feet of Lot 2, Block 2,
A. C. Turner's Subdivision, according to map of a "Plan of
Clearwater Harbor, Florida", as recorded in Deed Book "K",
page 475 of the Public Records of Hillsborough County, Florida,
of which Pinellas County was once a part.
AND ALSO that part of fractional Section 16, Township 29
South, Range 15 East, described as follows:
Begin in the North line of Block 2 of A. C. Turner's Subdivision,
which point is in the West boundary of Osceola Avenue (as
formerly located), in the City of Clearwater, Florida, 1982 feet
South of the North boundary of Fractional Section 16, Township
29 South, Range 15 East; run thence N 89°46'2511 W, along the
North line of said Block 2, a distance of Z5 feet for a P. O. B.
from the P. 0. B. thus established run thence N 89°4612511 W
10 feet; thence run N 0° 1915511 W, 150, 18 feet; thence run
N 89° 1714611 E 10 feet to the aforementioned West right-of-way
line; thence run by said right-of-way line S 0°'1915511 E,
150. 34 feet M. O. L. to the P. O. B.
2. That a certified copy of this Resolution be transmitted forthwith
