RESOLUTION
No. 73 ~ 135
WHEREAS. after public hearing on the 4th day of December. 1972.t
the City Commission of the City of 'Clearwater, Florida, determined that
certain work and improvements hereinafter described should be done and
made; and
WHEREASt pursuant thereto said improvements have been made as
follows:
Construction of paving, curbs and drainage in Roosevelt Avenue,
LaSalle to Carlton Street; Engman Street. Greenwood Avenue to
S.C.L.R.R.
The properties facing and abutting these improvements are deemed to derive
special benefits therefrom; and
WHEREAS. under the provisions of Section 123 and other pertinent
provisions of the City Charter, after said improvements shall have been
completed. the City Commission shall assess the cost thereof against the
properties facing and abutting and receiving benefits {rom said improvements
so made; and
WHEREAS, certain parcels of real estate facing and abutting and
in the vicinity of said improvements have been benefited the1.'eby and the
pro rata cost thereof shall be assessed against such property; and
WHEREASt the City Commission passed Resolution No. 73-111 on
August 2.7) 1973. which set forth the assessments for said abutting property
owners; and
WHEREAS, the City Commission has approved a revised assessment
for said abutting property owners and desires to repeal said Resolution No.
73-111 and enact a new Resolution setting forth the corrected assessment
amounts;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY
COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA,
IN SESSION DULY AND REGULARLY ASSEMBLED, AS
FOLLOWS :
1. That Resolution No. 73-111t passed by the City Commission of the
City of Clearwater on August 2. 7. 1973. is hereby repealed in its entirety.
2.. That the above-described improvements in the area. o!
Roosevelt Avenue and Engman Streett Clearwater.
Pinellas County. Florida.
be and the same are hereby accepted and approved as having been completed.
3. That the following described properties facing and abutting and in
.the vicinity of the aforesaid improvements are hereby deemed to have been
benefited by said improvements in the following proportions of the cost
thereof. and the same are hereby assessed in accordance with the following
schedule:
