RESOLUTION
No. 73 _ 116

WHEREAS, the City or Clearwater has appointed H. Everett Hougen
all Acting City Manager; and
WHEREAS, the City Commission wishes to officially designate and
authorize H. Everett Hougen, as the Acting City Manager of the City of
Clearwater, to sign all checks drawn by the City or Clearwater on any and
every account or any rund operated by the City of Clearwater in any bank
where such account or accounts arc maintained either by hand or by use of
mechanical check-signing equipment;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY
COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA,
IN SESSION DULY AND REGULARLY ASSEMBLED, AS
FOLLOWS:
1. That the City Commission of the City of Clearwater hereby
off'icially designates and a.uthorizes H. EVERETT HOUGEN, Acting City
Manager, to execute either by hand or facsimile signature any and all checks
drawn by the City of Clearwater on any and every account of any fund operated
by the City of Clearwater in any bank where such account or accounts are
maintained.
2.. That a certified copy of this Resolution be forwarded forthwith to
the various Banks of the area where Ilccounts of the City of Clearwater are
maintained and said copy shall be th~ official authorization of the City of
Clearwater to such Ba.nk to accept checks bearing either the signature or the
mechanically affixed facsimile signature of the said Acting City Manager.
