A RESOLUTION CALLING A SPECIAL REFERENDUM
ELECTION TO BE HELD ON SEPTEMBER 11, 1973, IN
` THE AREA OF LAKEVIEW VISTA SUBDIVISION, LAKE.
VIEW VISTA FIRST ADDITION REPLAT SUBDIVISION AND
EMERALD HILLS ESTATES SUBDIVISION, ON THE QUESTION
OF THE APPROVAL OF THE ANNEXATION OF SAID PROPERTY
INTO THE CORPORATE LIMITS OF THE CITY OF CLEAR-
WATER, FLORIDA, AND ESTABLISHING THE ZONING USE
DISTRICT CLASSIFICATIONS AND THE FIRE DISTRICT
' CLASSIFICATIONS FOR SAID PROPERTY AND PROVIDING
FOR THE MANNER OF CONDUCTING SAID ELECTION.
s= WHEREAS, the City of Clearwater, Florida, acting by and through its
City Commission, has passed Ordinance No. 1463 which declares its intention
r, to annex into the corporate limits of the City of Clearwater, Florida, and to

1 establish the zoning use district classifications and the fire district classifications

said City, such annexations to be by referendum vote of,the freeholders and

of the Public Records of Pinellas County, Florida, together
with all streets, rights-of-way, and all public easements
contained therein or contiguous or abutting thereto.
The above described property is hereby zoned !'RS-75"
(Single Family Residential District) and designated Fire
District No. 2;
and
WHEREAS, the City Commission desires to hold a Special Referendum
Election on the question of the approval of such annexations of said property;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY
COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA,
IN SESSION DULY AND REGULARLY ASSEMBLED, AS
FOLLOWS.
1. A Special Referendum Election shall be held in the area of Lakeview
Vista Subdivision, Lakeview Vista First Addition Replat Subdivision and
Emerald Hills Estates Subdivision, between the hours of 7:00 A. M, and 7:00
P.M. on Tuesday, September 11, 1973, for the purpose of voting on the
following:
Do you approve Ordinance No. 1463, providing for the
annexation of the following described property:
Lots 1 to 5, inclusive, and Lot 27, Lakeview Vista Subdivision,
as recorded in Plat Book 34, Page 62 of the Public Records of
Pinellas County, Florida, together with all streets, rights-of-way,
and all public easements contained therein or contiguous or
abutting thereto, and establishing zoning as "RS-75" (Single
Family Residential District) and designating it in Fire District
No. 2; AND Lot 28 and Lots 40 to 53, inclusive, Lakeview Vista
Ist Addition Replat Subdivision, as recorded in Plat Book 41,
Page 14, of the Public Records of Pinellas County, Florida,
together with all streets, rights-of-way, and all public ease-
ments contained therein or contiguous or abutting thereto, and
establishing zoning as "RS-75" (Single Family Residential District)
and designating it in Fire District No. 2; AND Lots 8 and 9 and
Lots 100 to 109, inclusive, Emerald Hills Estates Subdivision,
as recorded in Plat Book 46, Page 18 of the Public Records of
Pinellas County, Florida, together with all streets, rights-of-way,
and all public easements contained therein or contiguous or abutting
thereto, and establishing zoning as "RS-75" (Single Family
Residential District) and designating it in Fire District No. 2?
2. All registered electors and freeholders who are residents within
the areas to be annexed shall be eligible to vote at said election.

3. Notice of said election shall be given by publication in a newspaper
published and of general circulation in the City of Clearwater, once a week
for the four (4) weeks immediately preceding said election.
4. The City Clerk is hereby instructed to prepare the ballot to be used
in said election and to do all things necessary and proper as required by law
in the management and conduct of said election.
