RESOLUTION
No. 73 - 92
WHEREAS, the Courtney Campbell Parkway between Tampa and
Clearwater leaves much to be desired in the way of landscaping and aesthetic
`. quality; and
WHEREAS, inasmuch as many tourists and our citizens traverse

this corridor which could be beautifully landscaped and a delight to travel; and

WHEREAS, the City of Clearwater wishes to join with the City of
Tampa in requesting the Florida State Department of Transportation to consider
;. the landscaping of Courtney Campbell Parkway as a high priority project;
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY
COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA,

IN SESSION DULY AND REGULARLY ASSEMBLED, AS
•' FOLLOWS:
1. That the Florida State Department of Transportation is hereby
fq officially requested to consider the landscaping of Courtney Campbell Parkway
[ between the City of Clearwater and the City of Tampa as a high priority project
and to commence said project as soon as possible.
" 2. That a certified copy of this Resolution be transmitted to the District
Engineer, Florida State Department of Transportation, Bartow, Florida,
and to the Tampa City Council, Tampa, Florida.
