WHEREAS, John J. Savage, a member of the Florida State
Legislature and the Pinellas County Legislative Delegation, died on July
Z, 19731 and
`A'HEREAS, the said John J. Savage has for many years rendered
outstanding service as a Legislator and has given unselfishly of his time
and energy to the development of Pinellas County and the State of
Florida; and
WHEREAS, the City of Cles"mter has reason to feel a wry real
and deep sense of loss In his death because of his many contrl%tions to
the betterment cd government in our commnunityj
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY
COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA,
IN SEGSION DULY AND REGULARLY ASSEMBLED, AS
FOLLOWS i
1. That the City Commiisnion of the City of Clearwater, personally
and on behalf of the citizens of the City, regretfully recognises the
passing of John J. g'avage and gratefully acknowledges his devoted service
to Pinellas County and the State of Florida.
