WHEREAS, the Pinellas County Comprehonsive Land Use Plan has
been submitted to the City of Clearwater for its acceptance; and
WHEREAS, the City is willing to use said Land Use Plan as a guide
in planning, subject to periodic review and amendment, with the understanding
that approval of same constitutes no specific road plans or high density commit-
ments; and
WHEREAS, the City of Clearwater recommends to neighboring
communities a similar course of action in order to promote unified zoning
concepts in Pinellas County;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY
COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA,
IN SESSION DULY AND REGULARLY ASSEMBLED, AS
FOLLOWS:
1. That the City of Clearwater hereby officially accepts and adopts
the Pinellas County Comprehensive Land Use Plan, and in such acceptance of
said Plan as a guide in planning, subject to periodic review and amendment,
further stipulates that said approval constitutes no specific road plans or high
density commitment's.
2. That the City of Clearwater also recommends to all neighboring
communities a similar course of action in order to promote unified zoning
concepts in Pinellas County.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 5th day of July, 1973.
