RESOLUTION

Y
WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Clearwater, Florida,
requested George F. Cody & Associates to develop a Classification and Pay
Plan for the employees of the City which would be fair to the employees and
to the taxpayers of the City; and
WHEREAS, George F. Cody & Associates have now submitted such
a Position Classification and Pay Plan Survey to the City of Clearwater, and
WHEREAS, after consideration of such Survey, the Commission desires
to adopt same subject to further recommendations and amendments by the Civil
Service Board in accordance with the Civil Service Act;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY
COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA,
IN SESSION REGULARLY AND DULY ASSEMBLED, AS
FOLLOWS:
1. That the City Commission hereby formally adopts the Position
Classification and Pay Plan Survey prepared by the George F. Cody &
Associates, subject to further recommendations and amendments by the Civil
Service Board in accordance with the Civil Service Act of the City of Clearwater.
2. That this said Pay Plan shall be implemented as of October 1, 1973,
and the City Manager and Finance Director shall do all things necessary to
complete said implementation.
