WHEREAS, the City Commission of the City of Clearwater has previously
requested the Board of County Commissioners to proceed with the improvement
of Palmetto Street between Wood Avenue and Richards Avenue; and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners has passed a Resolution
ordering the said improvements with 66.2/37o of the costs to be assessed against
abutting benefited properties and the City of Clearwater to pay 33-1/370 of the
construction costs for properties within the City; and
WHEREAS, it is deemed to be in the best interests of the City that these
improvements be made and said Resolution and the costs set out thereunder
be confirmed;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY
COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA,
IN SESSION DULY AND REGULARLY ASSEMBLED, AS
FOLLOWS:
1. That the City of Clearwater hereby agrees to pay 33-1/37o of=the
construction costs for properties within the City limits for the improvement of
Palmetto Street between Wood Avenue and Richards Avenue
2. That a certified copy of this Resolution be forwarded forthwith to
the Board of County Commissioners of Pinellas County, Florida.
