WHEREAS, it has bcc~ rcqucsted by the owners of certain real
property along Canterbury Road Nol'lh of Druid Road, in the City of
Clearwater, Florida, that the City of Clearwater, Florida, vacatc a
certain portion of dedicated right of way known as Turner Street; and
WHEREAS, said right of way is not necessary nor required and it
is deemed to be to the best interest and advantage of the City and the
general public that the same be vacated;
NOW, THEREFORE. BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY
COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA
IN SESSION DULY AND REGULARLY ASSEMBLED, AS
FOLLOWS:
1. That the following:
That portion of Turner Street lying north of Lot 7, Melody
Subdivision as recorded in Plat Book 55, Page 69. of the
Public Records of Pinellas County, Florida.
be and the same is hereby vacated, closed and released, and the City of
Clearwater hereby quit clc"l.ims and releases all of its right, title and interest
thereto to the pel's ons, firms or corporations ~ntit1ed thereto by law, excepting
that the City of Clearwater hereby retains an casement for drainage and
utility purposes upon said described real property.
2. That the City Clerk is hereby directed to record this Resolution in
the Public Records of Pinellas County, Florida.
3. That a certified copy of this Resolution be furnished to Ms. Leslie
J. McManning, 674 Canterbury Road, Clearwater, Florida.
