RESDLUTION
No. 7z - 79
WHEREAS, the City Commission previously enacted Ordinance No.
I38D which enacted a new Section 19-17 setting forth rnqu~red notice of public
hearing and procedure to change or vacate any strent, alley, right of way or
easement within the City of Clearwater; and
WHEREAS, said Section I9•• I7 provided that the City Carnmission shall
by resolution set and establish a filing fen to cover coat of processing such
requests for change or vacation; and
WHEREAS, the City Commission desires to set and establish such a
filing £ee and establish further procedure in the implementation of said
Section 19,17;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY TFiE CITY
COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA,
IN SESSION DULY AND REGULARLY ASSEMBLED, AS
FOLLOWS:
1. There is hereby set and established a filing fee in the sum of
$40• D0, to be paid together with any written request to change or vacate any
street, alley, right of way or easement within the City of Clearwater, which
said filing fee is to cover cost of advertising public hearing, mailing notices to
property ownexs, engineering costs and other related expenses.
2. It is further established that after the City Engineer has made hie
investigation of any request far change ar vacation, his report shall be submitted
to the City Manager, who will then direst the City Glerk to schedule the public
hearing thereon and advertise the same.
