WHEREAS, it is necessary to supplement existing Resolution No, 60-70,
above referenced, to assure cougalianca with the applicable provisions of Public
Law 91-646, and to comply with the terms and provisions thereof, and the City
of Clearwater, Florida, a Municipal Corporation, by and through its Governing
Commission Body, desires to do so; and
WHEREAS, the City of Clearwater is a Municipal Corporation created, organized,
and existing under and by vixtue of the laws of the State of Florida, and is
legally authorized under said laws to provide the United States with such aseurancee
and to comply with the terms and provisions of said aseurancee;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE ::ITX C0:IMISSION FOR AND IN BEHALF'
OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA, A MUNICIPAL CORPORATION, IN SESSION

REGULARLY AND DULY ASSEMBLED, THAT:
SECTION 1. Without exceptions, restrictions, or reservations, the City
of Clearwater, Florida, agrees to and hereby assumes complete responsibility
for compliance with the requirements of local. caaperatian as set Earth in
Public Law 91646 , in that

;~° (1} fair and reasonable relocation payments and assistance shall
~r be provided to or for displaced persons, ae are required to be

• provided by a Federal agency under Sections 202, 203, and 204 of

;;~ in Section 205 of the Act shall be provided to such displaced persons;

(3} within a reasonable period of Circe prior to displacement, decent,

persons in accordance with Section 205(c}(3) of Che Act; and that

extent practicable under State law, by the land acquisition policies
