RESOLUTION
No. 7Z - l9 ,
WHEREAS, Amos Lewis, a tang time resident of the City of
Clearwater, and a member of the Planning and Zoning Board, died on
March 6, a 972; and
WHEREAS, the said Amos Lewis has rendered outstanding service
to the City by him unselfish contribution of time and energy to the
development of this City; and
WHEREAS, the City of Cleaxwater has reason to feel a very
real and deep sense of loss in his death because of his contributions to
the civic development of thiA ct~mmunity and desixes to gratefully
acknowledge his years of public service to the City;
NOW, THEREFORE, I3E IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY
COMMISS.*.ON OF THE CITY DF CLEARWATER, FLORI37A,
IN SESSION DULY AND REGULARLY ASSEM}3LED, AS
FOLLOWS:
1. That the City Commission of the City of Clearwater. personally
and on behalf of the citizens of the City, regretfully recognizes the passing
of. Amos Lewis and gratefully acknowledges his devoted service to the
City.
2. That a duplicate original of this Rea olution be delivered
to the family of Amos Lewis,
