WHEREAS, said bids have been tabulated and the recommendatiaas of
Briley, Wild & Associates have been submitted to the City;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE iT RESOLVED BY TI3E CITY
COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA,
IN SESSION DULY AND REGULARLY ASSEMBLED, A5
FOLLOWS:
1. That the bid for the Marshall Street Pollution Contxoi Facility
Modifications Project submitted by Mechanical & Chemical Equipment Co. ,
Inc. , of $randon, Florida, in the amount of $8$, 200. 00, be conditionally
awarded as the lowest and best bid subject to final approval by the Federal
Water Quality Adrninistxation, Environmental Protection Agency.
2. That the base bid for Project IV, Part I, submitted by The Dawson
Company, Inc. , of Jupiter, Florida, in the amount of $660, 859. 60, be
conditionally awaxded as the lowest and best bid, subject to final approval by
the Federal Water Quality Administration, Environmental Protection Agency.
This award is further conditioned upon the deletion of the South Beach force
main bid items by change order alter the contract is executed.
3, That the one bid received far Pxoject N, Part II, Sewage Ptunping
Stations, be rejected and the bidders $id Bond be returned.

dated February 2, 2972, be adopted and that they be sutharizod to proceed
with madificatians of the pumping stations and the relocation of Toren main and
to add a pumping station and force snairt to serve Sand Key.
5, Subject to final approval by the Foderai Water C2uaiity Adminis#ration,
Environmental Protection Agency, the proper City officiais are authorized and
directed to execute the contracts with the above low bidders.
