WHEREAS, House Bill 5~k36 (Chapter 7Dr9DG) was pasa+3d by the
Florida State Legislature with an effective date of October 1, 197D; and
WHEREAS, said bill provided thak any municipality in Pinellas County
is authorizcd and granted the power to install, improve and maintain water
ar sewer lines and facilities outside of the boundaries of such municipality
and to assess the abutting property so benefitted by such facilities when (1)
the municipality receives a petition requesting such service signed by at least
fifty per cent of the property owners within a given unincorporated geographic
area, ar {2) when the Florida Division of Health shall officially notify Ehe
municipality that a health hazard exists within a given unincorporated geographic
area that is hazardous to the municipality as determines by a field survey
and appropriate taste of the State Division of Hoalth; and
WHEREAS, the City of Clearwater has reccived a petition requesting
such service signed by over fifty per cent of the property owners within the
unincorporated geographic arcs of Woodmont Paxk 5ubdiv3sion, according to the
map or plat hereof ae recorded ~ln Plat Book 43, page G3 of the Public Records
of Pinellas County, Florida; of Woodmont Park Estates, according to the map
or plat #hereof as recorded in Plat Book ~}7, page 37 of the Public Records of
Pinellas County, Florida; of Woodmont Park Estates First Addition, according
to the map or plat thereof as recorded in Plat Book 53, page 1 of the Public
Records of Pinellas County, Florida; and Lot 1, Block A, Lots 1 thru 4, Black
B and Lots 1 and 2, Block C, all in Clearwater Highlands Subdivision, Unit A,
according to the map or plat thereat as recorded in Plat Baok 28, page 95 of
the Public Records of Pinellas County, Florida, all located in Pinellas County,
Florida;
