WHEREAS, the City of Clearwatex has furnished many services and 'i:'-`~:,~~`~`Mi,~
expended great sums of money that resulted in benefits to this property; and
WHEREAS, the Ci#y Comrnisaion desires to vigorously oppose the
passage of this bill and request the Pinellas County Legislativo Delegation
not to present same fox passage;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY ,
COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CLEAIt.WATER, FLORIDA,
IN SESSION DULY AND REGULARLY ~1SSEMHLED, AS
FOLLOWS: '
1. That the City Commisaiox- of the C,iky of Clearwater hereby
officially opposes the passage of a bill presented to the Pinellas County
Legislative Delegation relating to the deannexing of a portion of pxaperty
situated on Sand Key and urges the Delegation not to approve said bill for
pxeseatation to the Florida State Legislature,
2. That the City Commission designates the City Manager and the City
Attorney as its representatives to vigorously and actively appose said bill
at the public hearing to be held by the Delegation.
3. That a certified copy of this Resolution shall be transmitted forthwith
to said Pinellas County Legislative Delegati~^
