WHEREAS, operation of ilin Clcarwutnr Public Library is a function
of the government of the City of Clenrwntcr, F lorida; and
WHEREAS, it is appropriate and expedient to maintain a separate record
of receipts and disbursemonls o[ such futtids and earnings on existing balances;
NOW, THEREFORE, DE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY
COMMISSION OF Tl-IE CI'T'Y OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA,
IN SESSION DULY AND REGULARLY ASSEMBLED, A5
FOLLOWS:
1. That tho First National Bank of Clearwater, Florida, be, and it
is hereby, deg ignaled a depository of this City and that funds so deposited may
be withdrawn upon a check, draft, note nr nrdcr of the City.
2. That all checks, drafts, notes, or orders drawn against said account
be signed by any of the following:
A. C. Lowrey, 3r. City Treasurer
Glen W. Vantreagc Deputy City Treasurer
whose signatures shall be duly certified to said Bank, and that no checks, drafts,
notes or orders drawn against said Bank shall be valid unless so signed.
3. Further that said Bank is hereby authorized and directed to honor
and pay any checks, drafts, antes or ordexs so drawn, whether such checks,
drafts, notes or orders be payable to the order of any such person signing and/or
countersigning said cheeks, drafts, notes or orders of any of such persons in
