RESOLx1TION
No, 71-154
WHEREAS, the City of Clearwater desires to file an application for
State financial assistance for air and water pollution control and solid
waste disposal facilities under Florida G. L. 70-Z70, and to designate
M. R. Stienc~im, City Manager, ae its representative to file said application
and to provide all additional information and documents required; and
WHEREAS, the project included in the application covers the expansion
of Clearwater East Pollution Control Facility, modifications to Marshall
Street Pollution Control Facility and extensions to the collection system;
and
public health;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY
COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLDRIDA,
IN 5E5SION REGULARLY AND DULY ASSEMBLED, AS
FOLLOWS:
1. That the City of Clearwater, Florida, hereby designates M. R.
Stierheim, City Manager, as its representative to file the application for
State financial assistance for air and water pollution control and solid waste
disposal faciJ.ities under Florida G. L. 70-270, further authorizes the said
City Manager to provide all additional information anal documents required.
Z. That a certified copy of this Resolution be included as a part
of said Application to the State of Florida, Department of Pollution Control.
