WHEREAS, it has coma to the attention of the City Commission,
after a survey by the Traff{c Engineer, that traffic signals should be installed
at Belcher Raad and N. E. Coachman Road and at Belleair Road and Highland
Avenue in the City of Clearwater; and
WHEREAS, the City Commission is desirous of approving the instal-
lation and maintenance of these traffic signals becauso of the increased
volume of traffic and the numerous accidents which have occurred at these
corners;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY
COMMISSxON OF THE CITY OF CLEARWATER, FLORIDA,
IN SESSION DULY AND REGULARLY ASSEMBLED, A5
FOLLOWS:
That the City Commission of the City of Clearwater, Florida, hereby
officially approves the installation and maintenance of traffic signals at the
corner of Bolcher Road and N. E. Coachman Raad and at the corner of
Belleair Road and Highland Avenue, in the City of Clearwater, Florida.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 6th day of December, A. D. , 1971.
